Programs
The DSWD Social Pension is a monthly stipend for indigent senior citizens aged 60 and above who are frail, sickly, or with disability, have no permanent source of income, and whose children cannot provide financial support. MSWDO Peñaranda assists with enrollment and processing.
4Ps targets the poorest 20% of households. Eligibility is determined through a national household assessment (Listahanan). If you believe your household qualifies but is not yet enrolled, visit MSWDO for a reassessment request. Active beneficiaries must comply with health and education conditionalities.
A Solo Parent ID entitles holders to: flexible work schedule from employers, parental leave of 7 days, discounts on select goods and services, priority in government housing, and access to livelihood programs under RA 8972 – the Solo Parents' Welfare Act.
Walk in to the MSWDO office with a valid ID, proof of residency, and documentation of the emergency (hospital bill, fire certificate, police report, etc.). A social worker will assess your case. Emergency cases are given priority processing within 24–72 hours depending on fund availability.
